Study Tour Itinerary

As with any data collection, I feel my itinerary needs to be flexible. This will allow extra meetings to be scheduled as the need and interest arises.

  1. Nicole Smede says:

Wow Fiona! that looks very exciting.

  2. Thanks Nicole
Most contacts have fitted into allotted timeslots with only a few still to be confirmed. It’s going to be a busy time with a steep learning curve and I can’t wait. So many programs to see and ideas to learn!
    Cheers
    Fiona

  3. Christina Frost Clayton says:

Appears that you will be a much more learned educator upon your return.
I hope we will have time to chat as I would love to draw upon your experience especially re art and healing. Best wishes for a safe and stimulating journey.
    Cheers Tina

  4. Thanks Tina.
Stimulating yes!! As a teacher and a patient I know you understand the value of the arts as a therapeutic tool and on that basis I hope for it’s inclusion into a national curriculum. Did you know for at least the last ten years that the Canadian curriculum is taught ‘through the arts’? We’ll talk.

  5. lisa van den Dolder says:

Congratulations Fiona, what a wonderful opportunity. Enjoy every minute and bring back lots of creative ideas to inspire us all!

    X lisa

  6. Thanks for the well wishes Lisa but be careful what you ask! You of all people should be afraid… be very very afraid!! *fading manic laughter*

  8. wow…what a fantastic journey…and so much about the profile of art, education and healing…inspiring…all the best for a wonderful tour. Lyn

  9. What a wonderful learning journey you have embarked on … sooo disappointed that you wont be including western Canada in yourtour – if you can fit in a stop we would be happy to welcome you here as well – there is tons happening here as well (arts in medicine, artists on the wards programs, etc.) … However I am sure you have a pretty packed itinerary, and know you will still have a wonderful trip nonetheless!- all the best, Pamela

  10. Thanks Pamela
I don’t think I really understood the diversity of what I was taking on when I left home but there is always room for more. I would love to hear more about what is happening in your region…it sounds great!
